Kindergarten Enrollment

The Webb City School District welcomes all students who reside within the district's boundaries and satisfy the state's age eligibility requirements. To initiate enrollment for your incoming kindergarten student for the 2026-27 school year, please follow the process outlined below in each accordion. Should you have any specific inquiries regarding enrollment, kindly contact our District Registrar, Cheryl Chaney, at cchaney@wcr7.org.

    • Your child is 5 years old on or before July 31, 2026

     

    • You are a Webb City Resident (Not sure? Check with the Beacon Website)

  • You will need to upload the following documents to complete Step One of the enrollment process.

     

    • Current Immunization Records (kindergarten immunizations included)

    • State-Issued Birth Certificate

    • Proof of Residency (gas, water, or front and back of electric bill NO MORE THAN 30 DAYS OLD AND IN THE RESIDENT’S NAME)  Please note that telephone, cable, and other alike statements WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

    • If not a current resident, a contract to build or purchase a home within the Webb City School District will be accepted but MUST HAVE a closing or possession date included.

    • Foster Award Letter (if needed)

    • Custody Papers (if needed)

    • If you already have a PowerSchool account, you can log in using your existing credentials. If you've forgotten your password, simply click "Forgot Password" and enter your email address—you'll receive an email from PowerSchool with instructions to choose a new one.

     

    • If you don't have a PowerSchool account yet, please follow the "Create Account" steps on the page.

     

    • Following enrollment submission and successful completion of Step One of the enrollment process, you'll receive TWO emails from studentrecords@wcr7.org. The first email will inform you of “Successful Submission” the second will contain guidance for “Step Two” of the enrollment process.

     

    • Please note that Step One MUST BE FULLY COMPLETED before you can proceed to Step Two.

  • After receiving a “Successful Completion” email from studentrecords@wcr7.org, you will need to schedule your child’s screening appointment. All student screenings will be completed on Thursday, March 12 at Webb City High School.

    Please call our Parents as Teachers team at 417-673-6073 to schedule your child’s screening time on March 12th. 

  • Kindergarten Screening & Signing Day is a joyful celebration where upon completion of a successful screening, incoming kindergarten students symbolically "commit" to their educational adventure. Much like star athletes signing with a college team, these little learners proudly sign a special certificate using an oversized pencil. This marks their exciting first step into school life. This special event will include photo ops with the Webb City Cardinal, an opportunity to meet district staff, and giveaways for all incoming kindergarten students.

     

    To participate in this special day, please complete “Step One” of the Kindergarten Enrollment Process. Upon successful completion of “Step One” you will then have an opportunity to schedule a time for the district screening and signing day event on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Webb City High School.
